Overview of System features Setup Wizard Time Settings Password Summary - ePO Managed Setup Settings for ePO Management Use this page when selecting ePO Managed Setup within the Setup Wizard to configure your appliance for management by McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator. Table 310 Option definitions Option ePO Extensions Definition Download the ePolicy Orchestrator extensions for Email and Web Security Appliances. This file contains both the EWG extension and the EWS extension. The EWG extension allows reporting from within ePolicy Orchestrator for the following products: • Email and Web Security Appliances version 5.5 • Email and Web Security Appliances version 5.6 • McAfee Web Gateway • McAfee Email Gateway The EWS Extension provides full ePolicy Orchestrator management for Email and Web Security Appliances version 5.6. For you to use ePolicy Orchestrator for either reporting or management, the ePO Extensions need to be installed on your ePolicy Orchestrator server. ePO 4.5 Help Download the ePolicy Orchestrator help extensions for the two ePO Extensions listed above. This file installs the help extensions relating to the ePolicy Orchestrator extensions for Email and Web Security Appliances onto your ePolicy Orchestrator server. Import ePO Click to browse to the ePolicy Orchestrator connection settings file, to import the connection settings ePolicy Orchestrator connection information into the appliance. Task - Configuring the appliance to work with ePolicy Orchestrator Use this task to set up the appliance to be managed by ePolicy Orchestrator: 1 From your Email and Web Security Appliance, on Settings for ePO Management, select ePO Extensions and click Save to download the extension file. 2 From your Email and Web Security Appliance, on Settings for ePO Management, select ePO 4.5 Help and click Save to download the help extension file. 3 On the ePO server, install these extensions using Menu | Software | Extensions | Install Extensions. 4 On the ePO server, save the connections settings from Menu | Gateway Protection | Email and Web Gateway | Actions | Export Connection Settings. 304 McAfee Email and Web Security Appliances 5.6.0 Product Guide
