Overview of System features Setup Wizard Values to Restore Use this dialog to choose the areas of the configuration that you want to restore. By default, the setup wizard attempts to restore all settings found within the configuration file onto your appliance. You can choose not to restore settings in particular areas by deselecting them before continuing with the installation. The setup wizard enables you to review and change all setting before you apply then to the appliance. Network configuration Information about the IP addresses, host names and other details that are specific to your appliance and your network. The reporting configuration Information about how you have configured your Favorite Reports and Scheduled Reports. Role-based user accounts Selecting this re-installs information about the role-based user accounts that you have set up. This does not include the passwords for default accounts. ePO configuration If the appliance that generated the configuration file was under ePolicy Orchestrator management, this option applies these ePO configuration settings. Traffic - Custom setup Use this page when selecting the Custom Setup Wizard, to specify the type of traffic that the appliance will scan, and the local relay domain. • Email traffic includes SMTP and POP3. You can also choose to enable protection against Potentially Unwanted Programs and to enable McAfee Global Threat intelligence. You can also configure the local relay domain for the appliance. • Web traffic includes HTTP (for web browsing), ICAP (for use with ICAP clients), and FTP for file transfer. You can enable or disable each protocol (SMTP, POP3, HTTP, ICAP and FTP). If the appliance is in Transparent Router or Transparent Bridge mode, and the protocol is disabled, traffic for the protocol passes through the appliance, but is not scanned. If the appliance is in Explicit Proxy mode, and a protocol is disabled, traffic directed to the appliance for that protocol is refused. The protocol is blocked at the appliance. In Explicit Proxy mode, only SMTP, POP3, HTTP, ICAP and FTP traffic is handled by the appliance. All other traffic is refused. If, after installation, you do not want to scan any of the types of traffic, you can disable each protocol from its page. Under Relaying options, the appliance suggests the domain information if this is available via DHCP.
