Recording Movies B Notes on HS Movie • Footage recorded for slow motion or fast motion playback is not recorded with sound. • Vibration reduction cannot be used for movies that are recorded while the movie mode switch is rotated to HS. Zoom position, focus, exposure and white balance are locked when the b (e movie-record) button is pressed to start recording. D HS Movie Recorded movies are played back at about 30 frames per second, including portions recorded using HS movie. When HS movie options (A165) is set to k 240 fps, h 120 fps or i 60 fps, movies that can be played back in slow motion can be recorded. When set to j 15 fps, movies that can be played back in fast motion at a speed two times faster than normal speed can be recorded. Portions recorded at k 240 fps: A movie of up to ten seconds in length is recorded when recording for the purpose of high-speed capturing. Playback is eight times slower.
