Higher image quality results in pictures with more detailed depiction, but also larger file sizes, limiting the number of pictures that can be recorded. a Fine Fine image quality (compression ratio of 1: 4), suitable for enlargement or high quality prints. b Normal (default setting) Normal image quality (compression ratio of 1: 8), suitable for most applications. c Basic Basic image quality (compression ratio of 1:16), suitable for pictures that will be distributed by e-mail or used in web pages. The icon for the current setting is displayed on the monitor in shooting and playback modes (A8 to 10).
