SETUPS Display (cont'd) 1 OSD Language (Default : English) Set the language for the on-screen display. Use [K / L] to select a setting, then press [OK]. OSD Language English Français Español Your setting will be activated. 2 Screen Saver (Default : 10 minutes) Set the time to activate the screen saver function on the TV screen. Use [K / L] to select a setting, then press [OK]. Screen Saver OFF 5 minutes 10 minutes 15 minutes 30 minutes Your setting will be activated. 3 FL Dimmer (Default: Bright) Set the front panel display brightness. Use [K / L] to select a setting, then press [OK]. FL Dimmer Auto Bright Dark You can choose one from "Auto", "Bright" and "Dark". If "Auto" is selected, the display gets dark when the power is off. 5 V-Chip You can set the viewing limitation for the digital TV programs to prevent your children from watching inappropriate programs. This feature is available only after the digital TV ratings have been downloaded. • The ratings can be downloaded by the unit automatically if it is available in your area. 1) Use [the Number buttons] to enter the access password. If you have not set the password, first, use [the Number buttons] to set the access password, then press [OK]. The number you entered will be stored as the access password. Password Input 2) Use [K / L] to select a desired item, then press [OK]. V-Chip A Downloadable Rating B Change Password A Downloadable Rating Set the rating system via digital broadcasting, or clear the downloaded ratings. If the broadcasting signal does not have the downloadable rating information, the message below will appear. Downloadable Rating is currently not available. • This message will also appear when you try to access "DOWNLOADABLE RATING" after you have cleared the downloadable rating information, and the new information has not been downloaded since. To set the rating: Use [K / L] to select "BLOCK SETTING" then press [OK] to show the various types of ratings. Use [K / L] to select a desired rating to set, then press [OK] to show the levels for the rating. Use [K / L] to select a level, then press [OK] to switch "VIEW" or "BLOCK". If you set one level to "BLOCK", all the higher levels will be turned to "BLOCK" automatically. To clear the downloadable rating information and its setting: Use [K / L] to select "CLEAR DOWNLOADABLE RATING", then press [OK]. B Change Password Change the current password. Use [the Number Buttons] to enter new access password. Note • When you forget the access password at step 1), enter 4,7,3,7 using [the Number buttons] in the password input window.
