System Overview 3.6 SMPS & HVPS It is the power source of entire system. It is assembled by an independent module, so it is possible to use for common use. It is mounted at back of the machine. Power part is divided by two independent PBAs - SMPS PBA and HVPS PBA. SMPS PBA supplies the DC power for driving the system and supplies the AC power to the fuser. SMPS has two output channels : +5V and +24V. HVPS PBA supplies High voltage to the developer part to make a printing image on the paper.
