Setting the Tone and Strength 1. Perform steps 1 to 4 in "Playing Back Sounds" on page 93. 2. Press or to highlight the file name you wish to edit, then press A [Options]. The Options menu is displayed. 3. Press or to highlight "Set Tone" or "Set Strength", then press or A [Select] to select. For full details, see pages 109 to 111. Note • If "Set Tone" and "Set Strength" are not displayed in the menu in step 2, you cannot change these settings. Sending Messages 1. Perform steps 1 to 4 in "Playing Back Sounds" on page 93. 2. Press or to highlight the file name you wish to send, then press A [Options]. The Options menu is displayed. 3. Press or to highlight "Send Message", then press or A [Select] to select. If you select your original ringtone in step 2, perform the following, otherwise go to step 5. 4. Press or to highlight the file format "SMAF", "MIDI" or "i Melody", then press to select. 5. Enter your message. For details on creating a message, see "Creating a New MMS" on page 59. Note • Sounds with a red icon cannot be sent attached to a message. • Only the first part of the data is converted if you select "i Melody" in step 4. Deleting Sounds 1. Perform steps 1 to 4 in "Playing Back Sounds" on page 93. 2. Press or to highlight the file name you wish to delete, then press A [Options]. The Options menu is displayed. 3. Press or to highlight "Delete", then press or A [Select] to select. 4. Press or to highlight "One Sound" or "All Sounds", then press to select. 5. press A [Yes]. Note
If “Set Tone” and “Set Strength” are not displayed
in the menu in step 2, you cannot change these
settings.
Sending Messages

The Options menu is displayed.

to highlight “Send Message”, then

[Select] to select.
If you select your original ringtone in step 2, perform
the following, otherwise go to step 5.

to highlight the file format

select.

Enter your message.
