Recording Use a commercially-available audio cable (stereo mini plug, 3.5mm, with no resistance). Adjust the volume level of the external audio device while playing the recording source. Hint: · Try a test recording to ﬁnd an appropriate recording level. 5. Press the [FOLDER/A-B REPEAT] button to select the "L" folder. Folder L Note: · The ALC function is automatically turned off during recording to the "L" folder. 6. Play the recording source on the external audio device and press the [REC/PAUSE ] button. Recording starts. Note: · A recording mode of "MP3:192kbps" will be selected automatically. You cannot select any other mode option. · While you are recording audio through the line input from the connected external device, no audio will be heard from the speaker.
