Importing Audio Files into Cubase AI Importing Audio Files into Cubase AI The POCKETRAK CX ships with a DVD disc that contains the DAW software "Cubase AI." You can use this software to edit and mix audio files. This section explains how to install Cubase AI and import audio files. For more information on using Cubase AI, refer to the PDF manual supplied with the Cubase AI software. Step 1. Installing Cubase AI IMPORTANT Since the End-User Software License Agreement (EUSLA) displayed on your computer when you install the DAW software is superseded by the agreement in the included Owner's Manual (printed version), you should disregard the EUSLA. Please read the Software License Agreement in the included Owner's Manual carefully, and install the software if you agree to it. 1. Start the computer and log on to the Administrator account. 2. Insert the included DVD-ROM into the computer's DVD-ROM drive. 3. Double-click the "CubaseAI4.msi" icon in the "Cubase AI 4 for Windows" folder (for Windows users), or double-click the "CubaseAI4.mpkg" in the "Cubase AI 4 for MacOS X" (for Macintosh users). Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Cubase AI software. Note: · To continue to use Cubase AI and be eligible to receive support and other benefits, you will need to register the software and activate your software license by starting the software while the computer is connected to the Internet. Click the "Register Now" button that is displayed when the software is started, then fill in all fields required for registration. If you do not register the product, you will be unable to use the application after a limited period of time expires. For a detailed registration procedure of Cubase AI, refer to the web site below. Importing Audio Files into Cubase AI
The POCKETRAK CX ships with a DVD disc that contains the DAW software “Cubase AI.” You can
use this software to edit and mix audio files. This section explains how to install Cubase AI and
import audio files. For more information on using Cubase AI, refer to the PDF manual supplied
with the Cubase AI software.
Step 1. Installing Cubase AI
Since the End-User Software License Agreement (EUSLA) displayed on your computer when
you install the DAW software is superseded by the agreement in the included Owner’s Manual
(printed version), you should disregard the EUSLA. Please read the Software License Agree-
ment in the included Owner’s Manual carefully, and install the software if you agree to it.

Start the computer and log on to the Administrator account.

Insert the included DVD-ROM into the computer's DVD-ROM drive.
3.
Double-click the “CubaseAI4.msi” icon in the “Cubase AI 4 for Windows”

ware while the computer is connected to the Internet. Click the “Register Now” button
that is displayed when the software is started, then fill in all fields required for registra-
tion. If you do not register the product, you will be unable to use the application after a

Step 2. Connecting the recorder to your computer
Connect the recorder directly to your computer using the included USB cable.
