The tethered cap is behind a hinged door on theleft side of your vehicle. I If you get gasoline on yourself and then something ignites it, could be badly burned. you Gasoline can spray out you if you open the on fuel filler cap quickly. This spray can happen too if your tankis nearly full, and more likely in is hot weather. Open the fuel filler cap slowly and wait for any"hiss" noise to stop.Then unscrew the cap all the way. L While refueling, let the hang by the tether below the cap fuel fill opening. To take off the cap, turn it slowly to the left (counterclockwise). The cap has a spring in if you let it; go of the cap too soon, will spring back to the right. it Be careful not to spill gasoline. Clean gasoline from painted surfacesas soon as possible.
