Door Locks Unlocked doors can be dangerous. Passengers especialIy children can easily open thedoors and fall out. When door is a locked, the inside handle won't open it. Outsiders can easily enter through an unlocked door when you slow downor stop your vehicle. This may not beso obvious: You increase the chance of being thrownout of the vehicle ina crash if the doorsaren't locked.
