Be sure the buckle free of any foreign objects that is may prevent youfrom securing the latch plates. If you can't securea latch plate, see your Chevrolet dealer for service before using the child restraint. 6. In a single motion,pull the other sideof the harness all theway out. Keeping the harness pulled all the way out, place it over the child's shoulder. 4. Select only one sideof the harness. Pull thelap part of the harness out, and place harness over the the child's shoulder. If both sidesof the harness are pulled out, the lap parts will lock. If the lap parts lock, let both sidesof the harness go back all theway so each side will move freely again. Then repeat this step, pulling only oneside of the harness out. 5. Push the latch plate(Q into the buckle until clicks. it 7. Push the latch plate into the buckle untilit clicks. 1-43
