This special microSD card stores the phone's login data for your communication system and the main local device data in your settings menu (display, profiles, alarm configuration). This ensures that, in the event of a device defect, normal operations can resume in the shortest time and without having to log in again, simply by transferring the card to the replacement device. Conventional microSD cards cannot be used. Note: Do not use the microSD card on other devices (e.g. camera) to make sure the card is not accidentally reformatted and there is sufficient storage space available. Once it has been deleted or formatted, the card can no longer be used in your phone. Ask your system administrator from which device hardware/software release the microSD card is supported. 114 Aastra 650c eud-1587/1.0 - R3.0 - 04.2013

Information on the microSD card
Under the battery inside the phone there is a recess for an optional microSD card. This
special microSD card stores the phone's login data for your communication system
and the main local device data in your settings menu (display, profiles, alarm configu-
ration). This ensures that, in the event of a device defect, normal operations can
resume in the shortest time and without having to log in again, simply by transferring
the card to the replacement device. Conventional microSD cards cannot be used.
Note:
Do not use the microSD card on other devices (e.g. camera) to make sure the card is
not accidentally reformatted and there is sufficient storage space available.
Once it has been deleted or formatted, the card can no longer be used in your
phone.
Ask your system administrator from which device hardware/software release the
microSD card is supported.
