68 4 System BIOS There are two types of passwords that you can set. • Admin password Entering this password will allow the user to access and change all settings in the Setup utility. • User password Entering this password will restrict a user's access to the Setup menus. To enable or disable this field, an admin password must first be set. A user can only access and modify the System Time, System Date, and User Password fields. To set a system password: 1 Use the up/down keys to select a password parameter, then press Enter. A password box will appear. 2 Type a password then press Enter. The password may consist of up to seven alphanumeric characters (A-Z, a-z, 0-9).
