Setting Various Functions Reducing Flickering [Deflicker] HDMI Digital PC Component Analog PC This function adjusts the image display in order to reduce flickering in the projected image. MENU > [System settings] > [Other settings] > [Deflicker] Gamma Restore [Gamma restore] HDMI Digital PC Component Analog PC The gamma characteristic of the LCD panel inside the projector can be corrected. MENU > [System settings] > [Other settings] > [Gamma restore] Off Deflicker adjustment is not performed. Adjust Select [Deflicker] to adjust. The following screen appears. Off Adjust Returns to the factory default without performing Gamma restore. Performs Gamma restore and applies the result. OK Deflicker is performed. Cancel Deflicker is not performed. • When deflicker is performed, the image adjustment screen is projected for approximately 20 seconds. • To cancel deflicker, press the POWER button. • Deflicker can only be used when the lamp has been on for approximately 30 minutes or longer. • Be aware that deflicker may be unable to eliminate flickering in some cases. OK Cancel Gamma Restore is performed. Gamma Restore is not performed. • If Gamma restore is performed, the pro- jected image will be adjusted for a period of approximately 150 seconds. • To stop Gamma restore, press the POWER button or the EXIT button (WX6000 / SX6000). • Gamma restore can be performed once approximately 30 minutes have elapsed after the lamp flashes. • Be aware that if Gamma restore adjustment is performed, the color quality of the projected image may be changed. 134
