Checking the Power Injector LEDs Chapter 4 Troubleshooting 1250 Series Lightweight Access Points Checking the Power Injector LEDs The power injector (model:AIR-PWRINJ4) has three LEDs on the top end of the case (see Figure 4-2). Figure 4-2 Power Injector LEDs 170366 AP POWER FAULT AC POWER Table 4-2 lists the power injector LED indications. Note Regarding LED status colors, it is expected that there will be small variations in color intensity and hue from unit to unit. This is within the normal range of the LED manufacturer's specifications and is not a defect. Table 4-2 Power Injector LED Indications LED AP Power Fault Color Green Red AC Power Green Description Indicates DC power is available to the access point. Indicates a short or overload condition. Check Ethernet cables and connections before contacting your support organization for assistance. Indicates AC power is available at the power injector.
