www.dell.com | support.dell.com The "Show" Request and Response To generate an XML request that encapsulates a "show" command (to request a report), you use the tag instead of the tag as the Operation type. The schema of a show request allows only one , as shown here for the show linecard command. (Note that "show line all" demonstrates that you can use both an abbreviated form of the command and options, just as in the standard CLI): show line all The response from FTOS, if the command executes successfully, presents all of the content that you would get in the equivalent CLI report. Note that the data are encapsulated in self-explanatory XML tags.
