The field replaceable units (FRUs) in the Powerconnect B-8000 can be removed and replaced without special tools. The PowerConnect B-8000 can continue operating during many of the FRU replacements if the conditions specified in the procedure are followed. The following sections contain FRU removal and replacement procedures (RRPs). RRP: Power supply The PowerConnect B-8000 has two power supplies, as displayed in Figure 6. Fabric OS identifies the power supplies from right to left on the non-port side as power supply 1 and power supply 2. (The actual appearance of the PowerConnect B-8000 may differ from this illustration but the locations are correct.) There are no user-serviceable parts inside the power supply.
