A Regulatory compliance The standards compliance label on the PowerConnect B-8000 contains the CE mark which indicates that this system conforms to the provisions of the following European Council directives, laws, and standards: • Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive 2004/108/EEC • Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2006/95/EC • EN50082-2/EN55024:1998 (European Immunity Requirements) - EN61000-3-2/JEIDA (European and Japanese Harmonics Spec) - EN61000-3-3 Canadian requirements This Class A digital apparatus meets all requirements of the Canadian Interference-Causing Equipment Regulations, ICES-003 Class A. Laser compliance This equipment contains Class 1 laser products and complies with FDA Radiation Performance Standards, 21 CFR Subchapter I and the international laser safety standard IEC 825-2. ATTENTION Use only optical transceivers that are qualified by Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. and comply with the FDA Class 1 radiation performance requirements defined in 21 CFR Subchapter I, and with IEC 825-2. Optical products that do not comply with these standards might emit light that is hazardous to the eyes. RTC battery CAUTION Do not attempt to replace the real-time clock (RTC) battery. There is danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced or disposed of. Contact your switch supplier if the real-time clock begins to lose time. Electrical safety CAUTION This switch might have more than one power cord.
