It is recommended that you configure RAID 1 prior to installation of the operating system. See "Configuring Drive Mirroring With PERC 4/im Integrated RAID" for more information. NOTE: If you ordered your server module configured for RAID 1 from Dell, then your server module is already configured. 5 If required, set up console redirection on the server module to either the BMC or to the DRAC/MC module serial port in the server module System Setup program. See "Enabling and Configuring the DRAC/MC to Use a Serial or Telnet Console." NOTICE: To prevent possible network disruptions, ensure that you assign a static IP address, IP subnet mask, and gateway to the BMC before connecting to the network. The assigned static BMC address must match the LOM_1 address of one of the server modules.
