The latter is stored in the non-volatile memory of the Ethernet Switch Module and is loaded into the running configuration (which is kept in the RAM) each time the module boots. Updating the Switch Module Firmware This section contains instructions for downloading PowerConnect 5316M Ethernet switch module software system image through a TFTP server. The TFTP server must be configured before you begin to download the software. NOTE: You can download a TFTP server from http:\\solarwinds.net.
