Copy Files to and from the System The command syntax for copying files is similar to UNIX. The copy command uses the format copy source-file-url destination-file-url. NOTE: For a detailed description of the copy command, refer to the Dell EMC Networking OS Command Reference. • To copy a local file to a remote system, combine the file-origin syntax for a local file location with the file-destination syntax for a remote file location. • To copy a remote file to Dell EMC Networking system, combine the file-origin syntax for a remote file location with the file-destination syntax for a local file location. You can perform file operations on an NFS mounted file system using supported file commands. This feature allows an NFS mounted device to be recognized as a file system. This file system is visible on the device and you can execute all file commands that are available on conventional file systems such as a Flash file system. 52 Getting Started

Mounting an NFS File System

This feature enables you to quickly access data on an NFS mounted

system. You can perform

operations on an NFS mounted

system using supported

commands.

This feature allows an NFS mounted device to be recognized as a

ﬁle

system. This

ﬁle

system is visible on the device and you can execute

all

ﬁle

commands that are available on conventional

ﬁle

systems such as a Flash

ﬁle

system.
