Cutting off a printed document You can cut off a printed document using one of the following 6 methods: ❏ If you set the cutting method through the printer driver, the printer driver setting overrides the SelecType settings. 6 You can select the following from the printer driver's paper source settings: Tractor Front: Do not cut Tractor Front: Cut last page only 6 Tractor Front: Cut each page Tractor Rear: Do not cut Tractor Rear: Cut last page only 6 Tractor Rear: Cut each page ❏ Set the Auto cut mode setting to On in SelecType mode. 6 See page 94 for instructions. ❏ Select the printer's tear-off mode as follows: 6 1. Make sure printing has finished. Open the paper separator cover. You see the perforation cutter's tear-off edge. 6 2. Press the Tear Off button to enter tear-off mode. The printer feeds the paper's perforation to the perforation cutter's 6 tear-off edge. 3. If the paper is not aligned with the tear-off edge, adjust the tear-off position by pressing the Micro Feed buttons. 6 4. Press the Tear Off button again. Cutting off a printed document
You can cut off a printed document using one of the following
methods:
If you set the cutting method through the printer driver, the
printer driver setting overrides the SelecType settings.
You can select the following from the printer driver’s paper
source settings:
Tractor Front: Do not cut
Tractor Front: Cut last page only
Tractor Front: Cut each page
Tractor Rear: Do not cut
Tractor Rear: Cut last page only
Tractor Rear: Cut each page
Set the Auto cut mode setting to
On
in SelecType mode.
See page 94 for instructions.
Select the printer’s tear-off mode as follows:
1.
Make sure printing has finished. Open the paper separator
cover. You see the perforation cutter’s tear-off edge.
2.
Press the
Tear Off
button to enter tear-off mode. The printer
feeds the paper’s perforation to the perforation cutter’s
tear-off edge.
3.
If the paper is not aligned with the tear-off edge, adjust the
tear-off position by pressing the
Micro Feed
buttons.
4.
Press the
Tear Off
button again. The printer cuts off your
printed document and feeds the fresh paper back to the
top-of-form position.
