Using Default-setting Mode In Default-setting mode, you can adjust the print position for continuous forms with labels and choose which control panel buttons to lock in Lock-out mode. Continuous forms with labels You may need to change the printing position for continuous forms with labels if you are printing on a page that contains one or more labels in addition to regular printing. First use SelecType to turn on the Forms w/labels setting. Then use Default-setting mode and select the following settings to define the position of the label(s) relative to the base page. Setting Options (default in bold) Label base position Paper left edge, First dot Label top position (the top edge of the label, from the top of the page) 0 to 4752/216 (Enter a value in 1/216-inch increments for 0 to 22 inches) Label length (the length of the label from top to bottom] 0 to 4752/216 (Enter a value in 1/216-inch increments for 0 to 22 inches) Label left position (the left edge of the label from the left edge of the page) 0 to 1440/120 (0 to 12" in 1/120-inch increments) Label width (the width of the label from one side to the other) 0 to 1440/120 (0 to 12" in 1/120-inch increments) Base sheet PG position number 0 to 14* Label paper PG position number 0 to 14** * Adjusts the platen gap for printing on label carrier (base sheet). ** Adjusts the platen gap for printing on labels affixed to label carrier. 96 Control Panel
