54 Chapter 2 Phone Calls To use the speakerphone Placing your phone face down automatically turns on the speakerphone. To turn the speakerphone off, place your phone face up. You can also tap the onscreen Speaker button ( ) or press and hold the TALK/SEND button to turn the speakerphone on or off. The speakerphone icon ( ) appears in the title bar when the speakerphone is on. Warning! To decrease potential damage to your hearing, do not hold the phone against your ear when the speakerphone is on. To mute the microphone during a call Tap the Mute button ( ) to turn the microphone on or off. When the microphone is turned off, the mute icon ( ) appears on the screen. To take two calls and switch between the calls 1. Press the TALK/SEND button to accept a second call, or tap the Add Call button ( ) to dial a second call. The first call is put on hold when you accept or dial the second call. 2. To switch between the two calls, tap the Swap button ( ) or tap the dim area onscreen that shows "On Hold". To end calls To end the current call, tap End Call or press the END/POWER button. If you have two ongoing calls, tap Menu > End All Calls to end both calls.

To use the speakerphone
