Paper Jam: Output Area 1 Open the printer door. 2 Remove the toner cartridge, and protect it from light while you work on the printer. 3 Press the Paper Release Lever as indicated in Figure 3 to release the tension on the paper. 4 Using both hands, grasp the paper and pull it out of the printer. protect it from light while you work
on the printer.

Press the Paper Release Lever as
indicated in Figure 3 to release the
tension on the paper.

Using both hands, grasp the paper and
pull it out of the printer.
After removing all jammed sheets and/or
fragments of paper, replace the toner
cartridge and close the door.
The printer
should return to a ready state.
