6 Buffer tension formula - I-2-P Inverter Modification System: HP Indigo WS6600 Digital Press - VR configuration (software v. 8.9.i4) 1. Purpose To describe how to modify the ILP buffer tension to prevent thin substrate wrinkling. 2. Background Wrinkles in thin substrate may appear during work. To eliminate the wrinkles, change the I-2-P controller set to reduce the ILP buffer tension. 3. Instructions a. Press and hold the left (Unlock) button for few seconds, until the screen displays a flashing Loc. b. Press the middle button (short press), and UNL is displayed. This means the controller is ready to have parameters modified. c. Press the middle button to scroll between the screens, until you reach the F_2 screen. d. The value .600 is displayed. Background
Wrinkles in thin substrate may appear during work. To eliminate the wrinkles, change the I-2-P
controller set to reduce the ILP buffer tension.
