15 ILP Cleaning Guide System: HP Indigo WS6600 Digital Press 1. Purpose To describe how to clean the ILP. 2. Background N/A 3. Instructions Daily maintenance: a. Using a dry lint-free wipe, wipe the rubber coating rollers after every automatic and manual wash performed by the ILP to wipe off all remaining primer off the rollers. b. If the press is idle for long periods of time between jobs (when ILP is activated), dry the coating rollers after each wash cycle. c. When switching between working with the ILP and working without the ILP (ILP bypassed), initiate an ILP wash and using a dry lint-free wipe, and wipe off all remaining primer off the rollers once the wash is completed. d. Initiate an automatic ILP wash at the end of every day. Once the wash is complete, use a lint-free wipe soaked in warm water to wipe off all remaining primer from all the coating rollers and all the metal rollers surrounding the coating unit. e.
