10 Configuring the NetServer The HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM is shipped with your NetServer. You will use this CD-ROM to configure your NetServer. Contents of the NetServer Navigator CD-ROM The Main Menu of HP Navigator directs you to modules where you can perform configuration tasks or access online system documentation. The menu buttons for these modules are as follows: • Readme File • Configuration Assistant and Installation Assistant • HP Management Solutions • NetServer Utilities • User Preferences Before the HP Navigator Main Menu is displayed, you may be prompted to set the language and the time and date. You can also set the language that the BIOS displays. The following is a description of the contents of the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM, as accessed from the Main Menu. Obtaining NetServer Product History When the NetServer is connected to its monitor, keyboard, and power supply, you are ready to begin installation and configuration. As you configure the NetServer for use, it's important to have the very latest configuration information. This will inform you of any applicable compatibility issues, and provide you an up-to-date list of HP-tested peripherals and accessories. Refer to the "Tested Products List" on the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM.
