Chapter 10 Configuring the NetServer HP Management Solutions HP Management Solutions is a comprehensive suite of utilities, applications, and built-in features to manage multiple servers locally or from remote locations. If you are unfamiliar with these products or concepts: • Go to the Management Web site on the HP Web Site at http://www.hp.com/go/netserver_mgmt to view information on HP TopTools and all server management options for your NetServer. • Read the HP NetServer Server Management Reference Guide included with your NetServer. This guide covers TopTools and all other server management utilities and options for the NetServer. • View demonstrations of HP Remote Assistant and other third-party management applications. On the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM, select HP Management Solutions on the Main Menu, and then select "Execute HP Management Solutions Demonstration." TopTools for Servers HP TopTools for Servers is new browser-based management software that provides remote administration and monitoring of critical server components. TopTools provides vital information for the fastest troubleshooting and proactive management of NetServers. Processors, memory, storage, and NICs are a few examples of the components managed by TopTools.
