Make sure that the power interlock switch at the rear of the HP NetServer is in the locked position, and that AC power is connected. When the switch is locked, the slot through the middle of the switch is vertical. See Figure 2-4. ◊ If the power interlock switch was unlocked, the system starts as soon as you relock the switch if AC power is connected. Skip ahead to step 3. ◊ If the power interlock switch was already locked, proceed to step 2. NOTE The interlock switch locks the satellite chassis in place. Power-Up Procedure
1.

is in the locked position, and that AC power is connected. When the
switch is locked, the slot through the middle of the switch is vertical. See
Figure 2-4.
If the power interlock switch was unlocked, the system starts as soon
as you relock the switch if AC power is connected. Skip ahead to
step 3.
If the power interlock switch was already locked, proceed to step 2.
NOTE
The interlock switch locks the satellite chassis in place. As a
safety precaution, the server cannot power up unless this
switch is locked.
