Installing Processor Boards This section describes the installation of the 200 MHz/1 MB Processor Board Accessory Kit in HP NetServer LXr Pro8 systems. The processor board includes two 200 MHz/1 MB CPU chips, on which two heat pipes are mounted for efficient cooling. The HP NetServer LXr Pro8 comes standard with one 200 MHz/1MB processor board and three terminator boards installed. Verify Contents CAUTION Do not remove the processor board from its bag until you are ready to install it. Make sure the bag remains sealed. The CPU chips are sensitive to humidity, so desiccant has been packed in the bag containing the processor board. When the processor board has been installed and the HP NetServer is running, the chips are no longer sensitive to humidity. Unpack the shipping box and verify that you received the contents listed below for the 200 MHz/1 MB Processor Board Accessory Kit.
