Printing envelopes 1 2 3 Only use envelopes that are recommended for laser printers. See Printer media specifications for more information. 1 To prevent the envelopes from curling as they print, open the straight-through output door. 2 Before loading the envelopes, slide the media guides outward so that they are slightly wider than the envelopes. 3 Place the envelopes with the stamp end forward and the side to be printed facing up. Note If the envelopes have a flap on the short edge, feed that edge into the printer first. 4 Adjust the media guides to the length and width of the envelopes. Access the printer properties. See Printer properties (driver) for instructions. Click the Paper tab, select Envelope from the Optimize for drop-down list, and click OK. 4 ENWW Printing envelopes 25

Printing envelopes
