HP Printing Supplies Environmental Program Since 1990, the HP Printing Supplies Environmental Program has collected more than 48 million used print cartridges that otherwise might have been discarded in the world's landfills. The HP LaserJet print cartridges go to a collection center and are shipped in bulk to our resource and recovery partners who disassemble the print cartridge. Remaining materials are separated and converted into raw materials for use by other industries to make a variety of useful products. U.S. returns For a more environmentally responsible return of used print cartridges and consumables, Hewlett-Packard encourages you to use bulk returns. Simply bundle two or more print cartridges together and use the single, prepaid, pre-addressed UPS label that is supplied in the package. For more information in the U.S., call 1-800-340-2445 or visit the HP LaserJet Supplies Web site at http://www.hp.com/sbso/product/supplies/whybuy_recyc.html.
