Overview of the HP ToolboxFX NOTE The HP ToolboxFX is available for Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems only. The HP LaserJet 3050/3052/3055/3390/3392 all-in-one products use V1.0 of the HP ToolboxFX. There are many differences between the HP ToolboxFX and previous versions of the HP Toolbox. Use the HP ToolboxFX software program to communicate with and manage your HP LaserJet all-inone. The HP ToolboxFX provides the following capabilities: ● Check the HP LaserJet all-in-one status. ● Receive alert messages for error conditions on the HP LaserJet 3050/3052/3055/3390/3392 all- in-one products. ● Configure the HP LaserJet all-in-one settings. ● View troubleshooting information. ● View online documentation. ● Access the following HP LaserJet all-in-one software functionality: ● Fax Receive to PC ● Fax Phone Book ● Fax Send and Receive Logs You can view HP ToolboxFX when the HP LaserJet all-in-one is directly connected to your computer or when it is connected to the network. You must perform a Typical installation to install HP ToolboxFX. Starting the HP ToolboxFX Open HP ToolboxFX in one of these ways: ● Double-click the HP ToolboxFX icon in your Windows system tray or on your desktop.
