Watching and Recording TV Programs The Media Center PC acts as a digital video recorder (DVR) which works with the Media Center remote control so you can watch and record TV programs at your own convenience and pace. In My TV you can: ■ Watch your favorite television programs in full-screen mode or in an inset window. ■ Pause, stop, rewind, and fast-forward live TV. ■ Record a single TV program or an entire series. My TV manages the recordings for you and displays a message if there are any recording conflicts. ■ Create a recorded TV library. ■ Search for TV programs to watch or record using the Television Program Guide. ■ Check the details of TV programs in the Guide. ■ Check which TV programs you have scheduled to record. ■ Browse for TV programs in Search by title, keyword, or category. ■ Simultaneously watch a recorded program and record a live program. ■ Set Media Center to block certain channels. ■ Find your favorite television programs by organizing the Television Program Guide by different categories, such as movies or sports.
