About Recording Errors A recording error means that a program scheduled to record was not recorded. This can occur for several reasons. If your PC was turned off and not in standby mode during the time the program was scheduled to record, or if there was a recording conflict with another scheduled program, a recording error occurs. If you were watching live TV when the program was scheduled to record and declined the prompt to change channels, a recording error occurs. Common recording errors Recording error Redundant Missed Conflict Canceled Repeat Error Not enough space Deleted Partial Description of error Program already exists in Recorded TV library or has been recorded and deleted in the past eight weeks.
