If you have an internal CD-ROM drive, install it in the OmniBook. -or- If you have a SCSI CD-ROM drive and a docking system, connect the SCSI CD-ROM drive to the docking system. -or- If you have a PCMCIA or parallel port CD-ROM drive, connect the PCMCIA or parallel port CD-ROM drive. See "To set up a PCMCIA or parallel port CD-ROM drive." 2. Insert the Recovery CD in the CD-ROM drive. 3. From the \omnibook\hputils\disk1 directory on the CD, double-click setup.exe. The OmniBook Application Software Setup menu appears. 34

To recover HP software programs
1.
If you have an internal CD-ROM drive
, install it in the OmniBook.

If you have a SCSI CD-ROM drive and a docking system
, connect the SCSI
CD-ROM drive to the docking system.
–or–
If you have a PCMCIA or parallel port CD-ROM drive
, connect the PCMCIA or
parallel port CD-ROM drive. See
“To set up a PCMCIA or parallel port CD-ROM
drive.”
2. Insert the
Recovery CD
in the CD-ROM drive.
3. From the
\omnibook\hputils\disk1
directory on the CD, double-click
setup.exe.
The OmniBook Application Software Setup menu appears.
