6. Select OK in the Save And Reboot dialog box. To change how power is managed You can change power-management settings that affect power usage and performance. For ideas about how to save battery power, see "To save battery power." 1. Click Start, HP User Tools, Setup, OmniBook, Power. 2. Select the power-management option that matches the balance you want between battery life and response time. If you choose the Custom option, you can change the individual time-out settings, such as the automatic turn-off time. The greater the idle time before turn off, the more battery power you will use. 3. Click OK. Note The OmniBook automatic turn-off feature operates only when the OmniBook is running on battery power. If the ac adapter is powering the unit, the OmniBook does not automatically turn off. 43
