Hardware Lights Top: Lights 1 Num lock light 2 Caps lock light 3 Mute light 4 Wireless device light (available on select models) 5 Battery light 6 IDE (Integrated Drive Electronics) drive light 7 Power/standby light On (green): Num lock or the internal keypad is on. On (green): Caps lock is on. On (orange): Volume is muted. On: The wireless device button is turned on and an integrated wireless device is hardware enabled. On: The notebook is receiving adequate external power. ■ On orange: A battery pack is charging. ■ On green: A battery pack is fully charged. ■ Flashing: A battery pack is malfunctioning and may need to be replaced.
