G Blade PC Battery Each Blade PC has one memory device that requires a battery for retaining stored information. Blade PC Battery Replacement When your Blade PC no longer automatically displays the correct date and time, you may need to replace the battery that provides power to the real-time clock. Under normal use, battery life is usually about 5 to 10 years. Use an HP 200-mAh, lithium, 3-V replacement battery (spare P/N 166899-001). To install a new battery: 1. Power down the Blade PC. See the "Powering Down a Blade PC" section in Chapter 4, "Installing and Cabling the HP CCI Solution." 2. Remove the Blade PC from the enclosure. Blade PC Battery Replacement
When your Blade PC no longer automatically displays the correct
date and time, you may need to replace the battery that provides
power to the real-time clock. Under normal use, battery life is usually
about 5 to 10 years. Use an HP 200-mAh, lithium, 3-V replacement

To install a new battery:
