Solid-state drive, M.2 Description Solid-state drive, 16 GB, M.2 Solid-state drive adapter board (includes cable) Spare part number 818504-001 822347-001 Before removing the solid-state drive, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 24). 5. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 25). To remove the solid-state drive: 1. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screw (1) that secures the drive to the computer. 2. Lift the top of the drive upward (2), and the pull the drive away from the connector (3). 3. If it is necessary to remove the solid-state drive adapter board, disconnect the drive cable from the system board (1). 4. Before removing the solid-state drive, follow these steps:
1.

To remove the solid-state drive:
1.
Remove the Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screw
