Note: Take care not to dislodge the memory when you remove the cage. Power supply Before you begin: v Read "Safety information" on page 125. v Review the information in "Before you begin" on page 44. To remove the power supply, do the following: 1. Power-off the server, if it is on. 2. Unplug the server. 3. Remove the cover (see "Removing the side cover" on page 46. 4. Disconnect the power cables from the system board. 5. Remove the screws from the rear of the server. 6. Gently move the power supply away from the chassis and lift it out of the server.
