1 INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS ■■Installing the UT-137 When you install the optional UT-137 Bluetooth® unit in the transceiver, you can communicate with other Bluetooth device. WARNING! BE SURE to disconnect the DC power cable before starting the following procedures. NOTE: Before touching the transceiver or UT-137, remove static electricity from your body by touching a grounded object such as a doorknob or aluminum sash. The static electricity may damage the transceiver or the UT-137, or cause data lost. 1. Turn the transceiver upside-down. 2. Remove the four screws from the bottom of the transceiver and the four screws from the sides, then lift off the bottom cover. Bottom cover 3. Place one end the UT-137 under the edge of the front panel, with the connector facing down. Front panel UT-137 Connector 4. Carefully, push the connector into the socket. LLEnsure the UT-137 is installed correctly. 5. Reattach the bottom cover and screws. 7 BASIC MANUAL
