FEATURES OF THE CAMERA SECTION 13-7 Connecting the Local Remote Control Unit (RM-LP55/RM-LP57) PUSH VTR/RM DV CAMCORDER GY-DV550 PROMPTER OUTPUT Y/C OUT MONITOR OUT LINE OUT CH-1 CH-2 TC IN TC OUT REMOTE GENLOCK/AUX IN VIDEO OUT AUDIO IN FRONT LENS REMOTE It is possible to set the switch functions of the camera section using the local remote control unit (RM-LP55/RM-LP57) Connection Connect the local remote control unit cable to the REMOTE connector of this unit. Settings ● Set VTR Setup menu No. 050 REMOTE SELECT of this unit to LOCAL. ● When also using the DV terminal, set VTR Setup menu No. 050 REMOTE SELECT to IEEE1394. CAUTION: When setting VTR Setup menu No. 050 REMOTE SELECT to IEEE1394 + RS232C, the local remote control unit will be inoperable. Operation When the OPERATE switch of the local remote control unit is set to ON, the local remote control unit will be operable. Unavailable functions The following functions are unavailable from the local remote control unit. • RM-LP55 : GAIN ALC setting SHUTTER EEI setting ZOOM FOCUS SC COARSE SC FINE H PHASE GAMMA TITLE TITLE SET • RM-LP57 : SHUTTER EEI setting GAIN ALC setting SC COARSE SC FINE H PHASE RM-LP55 REMOTE CONTROL UNIT FUNC 1 FUNC 2 W.PAINT GAIN SHUTTER IRIS MANU OPERATE ENTER MENU FUNC 1 FUNC 2 /SET RM-LP55 Memo: • If the switch functions for this unit and the local remote control unit are the same, the switch function of the local remote control unit will have priority. • The IRIS AUTO/MANUAL setting will be the local remote control unit switch setting regardless of the lens section switch setting. • H.
