Operation on the Machine > Loading Originals Loading Originals Load the originals on the platen or document processor, depending on the original size, type, volume, and function. • Platen: Place the sheet, book, postcards, and envelopes. • Document Processor: Place the multiple originals. IMPORTANT • Do not push the document processor forcefully when you close it. Excessive pressure may crack the platen glass. • When placing books or magazines on the machine, do so with the document processor in the open position. 5-2
