Troubleshooting > Troubleshooting Printed Image Trouble When the following printed image trouble occurs, implement appropriate procedures. Symptom Printouts are totally too light. Checkpoints Is the paper damp? Is EcoPrint mode enabled White background parts of the image appear to have a slight overall coloration. Corrective Actions Replace the paper with new paper. Disable [EcoPrint] mode. Run [Developer Refresh]. Run [Laser Scanner Cleaning]. Make sure the paper type setting is correct for the paper being used. Run [Calibration]. Reference Page page 3-2 page 8-16 page 10-39 page 10-38 page 8-12 page 10-38 Black or color dots appear ― on the white background. Run [Developer Refresh]. page 10-39 Printouts are fuzzy. Printouts are cut off. Is the device used in an environment with high humidity or where the temperature or humidity changes suddenly? ― Use in an environment that has suitable humidity.
