Imaging Color reproduction With this feature, you can optimize the color rendering of photos and graphics. 1 In the Imaging tab, set Color to Full color or Auto color. 2 Select one of the following color reproduction options: General This option is for printing documents that contain text and graphics. Graphic This option is for printing documents with many graphic images. China red This option appears if you selected the China Red plug-in as an optional component following installation of the printer driver. This plug-in appears automatically if the region is set to a Chinese locale. Custom 1, Custom 2 These options are for printing with color tables in the firmware. Selecting either of these options makes Print grays with black ink unavailable. Advanced This option achieves greater consistency in color reproduction among various devices. It compensates for the different color spaces of color printers. Selecting and applying a set of profiles is called a color profile. Select to open the Color Correction dialog box for additional color printing options. China red With this plug-in feature, you can select the preferred red hue for an accurate display in a print job. In the China Red dialog box, you can use an eyedropper tool or enter specific RGB values to select the color. A printed sheet lets you select the preferred color variation for the print job. When China red is selected, Color Optimizer is unavailable in the Advanced tab. When installed, the China red option appears in Imaging > Color reproduction. This option is unavailable when: • PDL is set to PDF. • Black & White mode is selected in Device Settings > Administrator > Lock Settings. • Color is set to Black in the Quick Print, Basic, or Imaging tab. Color reproduction
With this feature, you can optimize the color rendering of photos and graphics.

In the Imaging tab, set
Color
to Full color or Auto color.

Select one of the following color reproduction options:
General
This option is for printing documents that contain text and graphics.
Graphic
This option is for printing documents with many graphic images.
China red
This option appears if you selected the China Red plug-in as an optional
component following installation of the printer driver. This plug-in
appears automatically if the region is set to a Chinese locale.
Custom 1, Custom 2
These options are for printing with color tables in the firmware. Selecting
either of these options makes Print grays with black ink unavailable.
Advanced
This option achieves greater consistency in color reproduction among
various devices. It compensates for the different color spaces of color
printers. Selecting and applying a set of profiles is called a color profile.
