3-6. Mode switch Connecting an external ODD ※ external ODD function is to connect an internal ODD of Network Storage to an user PC using an USB cable, and use it as a common external ODD. 1. Connecting an external ODD
※
external ODD function is to connect an internal ODD of Network Storage to an
user PC using an USB cable, and use it as a common external ODD.
1. Connecting
A
Move a mode switch to a location of EX. ODD.
Once a preparation of the external ODD func-
tion, buzzer beeps, and an ODD icon at the
front of Network Storage lights up.
B
Please plug in the USB cable into the USB port
of the back of Network Storage and the USB
port of the PC, so that they are connected.

N1A1 model does not support ODD function.
