Understanding the printer menus 173 Use Caller ID On Off Alternate Fax number masking Off From left From right Enable Line Connected Detection On Off Enable Extension In Use Support On Off Digits to mask 0-58 To Specify the type of caller ID being used. Note: This menu appears only when the selected country supports multiple patterns. Specify the direction from where digits are masked in an outgoing fax number. Notes: • Off is the factory default setting. • The number of characters masked is determined by the Digits to Mask setting. Detect a disconnected phone line. Note: On is the factory default setting. Detect an external extension phone in use. Note: On is the factory default setting. Specify the number of digits to mask in an outgoing fax number. Note: 0 is the factory default setting.
